We Live In A World Where Many People Don't Know The Answer To This Question. Many People Create Their Own Definitions. Some Just Go On As If It Doesn't Exist.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,it is not easily angered,it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
- 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
You See, The Reason Many Of Us Don't Know The Definition Of Real Love Is Because We've Been Searching In The Wrong Places. We Really Don't Even Have To Search. Our Lives Are The Definition Of Real Love. Every Single Morning We Wake Up Is Based Off An Action Of Real Love.
Are You Done Settling?
When We Realize That Real Love Lies In Our Lives, We Begin To Understand That We Shouldn't Settle For Anything Less. You See, When We Begin To Settle For Anything Less Than Real Love We Allow It To Contaminate How We View Love. We Allow It To Contaminate Our Capability. We Begin To Question Whether Or Not We're Capable Of Being Loved. We Begin To Question Whether We Are Capable Of Loving.
1. Understand That You Are Capable Of Being Loved, Because You Are Loved.
How Do I Know That Your Loved? Well Let's Take A Look. You're Alive. Your Mistakes Didn't Kill You. Remember In The Definition Of Real Love Found In 1 Corinthians 13:5, It Says That Love "keeps no record of wrongs." That Doesn't Mean That Our Wrongs Are Just Forgiven, But That They're Also Forgotten.
2. Understand That You Are Capable Of Loving.
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." - John 15:12
Jesus Is Telling Us To Love One Another With The SAME Love He Has For Us. Do You Think Jesus Would've Told Us To Do Something We Aren't Capable Of Doing?
3. Also Acknowledge That Being Capable Of Loving Does Not Make You Weak.
Being Capable Of Loving Someone Other Than Yourself Embodies Strength.
When Jesus Died On The Cross For Us And Rose On The Third Day, He Showed Supernatural Strength.
This is so trueeee in today’s society and culture there’s this definition of “Love” and how we’re suppose to be about it but God is trying to tell us he’s the definition of love. I tried searching on my own to find it, in the end the only thing I found was that God is the true definition of Love.
